It’s almost that time! The season of cold and flu is approaching & you know at Royalty Holistics, we like to practice preventative health; we stay ready, so we don’t have to get ready!
Well, my youngest Sun came down with a summer cold yesterday which alerted me that it was time to take action in preparation for the colder months, so I want to share the protocol I used to make him bounce back!
This protocol is to be used AT THE FIRST SIGN of cold/flu to prevent progression BUT can be used on a cold that’s already present.
To give the formula a boost, add about three tablespoons of Echinacea Root as it is known to shorten the duration of a cold or the flu by 1-3 days.
Diet: MINIMAL TO NO MEATS!
CONSUME:
Fresh pressed fruit & vegetable juices
Fresh fruits and veggies
Vegetable soups
Fresh smoothies(try not to add much ice as the coolness can worsen the cold). If you must, add warm water or coconut milk to balance it and make it less chilled than typical.
Be sure to drink 1/2 your body weight in oz of spring, distilled water, or coconut water(optimal for electrolytes vitamins and minerals).
IF APPLICABLE: Take sea moss gel daily!! This is loaded with minerals to boost recovery! 2tsp for children 2tbsp for adults.
